Dr Luke Williamson, a rheumatology registrar from Canberra, sums up his EULAR experience in three words: exciting, extensive and inspirational.
Dr Williamson has been to a few international conferences, but EULAR is “like nothing else I’ve been to before”, he tells Rheumatology Republic.
“It’s almost overwhelming in terms of the variety and the options and choices you have for each session,” he says.
“You could be here for two or three weeks and still not cover everything.”
“One session that I found really useful was I went to the low-budget options for research for young rheumatologists,” he says. “This one was just very practical.”
